Please read before applying CARESS to your skin
The essential oils in CARESS are considered mild "photosensitizers" - that means they are capable of absorbing energy from the sun’s rays and produces a chemical change. Thus CARESS is hazardous to the skin if you apply it and then expose yourself to direct sunlight or other forms of ultra violet light (such as tanning beds).
Therefore, only use CARESS when you will not expose your skin to direct sunlight or ultra violet light. Wash off after you have done a massage ritual or apply once you are home and will no longer be out in the day and receive direct sunlight. If you apply CARESS under clothing (on the belly or legs) you do not have to worry about this!
If you are taking any medication, please check that the medication does not cause photosensitivity and if in doubt consult your medical practioner.
