Hatha Yoga -Morning (Day time) class
A little extra guidance for a woman who has a solid practice of Yoga, is pregnant and in her first trimester (LIVE class did not have anyone pregnant).
Class focus on posture (use of the wall for 2 asana) and first chakra (earth element) energetics - feeling safe and supported.
Class highlights - throwing a tantrum to let go to fear and anger. This always gets a class more relaxed and connected in community.
Venus Yoga. 'GLOW BODY' self massage ritual to ground, connect, and cultivate self trust and trust in your divine path.
Based on the Ayurveda self-massage “Abhyanga” ritual, this class focuses on the 1st Chakra - grounding, connecting, cultivating self trust, and trust in your divine path. We explore the mantra Hari Om Tat Sat - Sat Chita Ananda (All is as it should be - may I connect with highest consciousness and find my Truth and be in Bliss). This mantra is ideal to invoke during times of challenge, when pregnant or giving birth, and birthing yourself anew. We explore the Golden Light and Golden Flower Breath technique for Labor and The Hissing Breath to cool down (for hot flushes, and for when not to bear down during labor). Option to use an exercise ball in this class. Focus on the upward flying seal (Uddiyana Bandha), pelvis stability (clam ex.) and camel pose (Ustrasana).
